Horseback riding in Egypt
In Egypt we would ride through the desert. Start is in Marsa Matruh near Alexandria (Mediterranean coast), and would ride to Siwa Oasis. There are wonderful sights and some small lakes, where the water is very salty. The journey takes 7-8 days until we arrive in Marsa Matruh again. The ride is accompanied by a car so we have enough water and food for horses, so little fear! We will not be alone. There is possibility to take a tent to sleep, or who likes to sleep in large car.
Horseback riding in Germany
In Chiemgau in Germany we have countless opportunities for riding.
- A route would be from overseas, where beautiful views of Chiemsee is up to the Wandergaul in Truchtlaching. It is an overnight accommodation for horse and man in wooden huts, after which we can continue riding from Truchtlaching to Seeon and back. The whole trip lasts 3-4 days.
- In the Chiemgau Alps there is
a possibility to go on a 4-day hike with overnight stay at mountain huts.
